HSN Certified Nutrition Coach
Hi! I’m Beth, and I was born & raised in Northern CA. Met my husband while on a work exchange in Western Australia. We spent the first 13 years of marriage in Minnesota and then moved to Arizona in 2006. I’ve always been an outdoorsy person, I grew up riding and competing on horseback. Alongside riding, I’m an avid walker and hiker, constantly drawn to movement and the great outdoors. In my 40s, I added running to the mix — challenging myself in new ways and continuing to push my endurance. But when I turned 50, I somehow knew I needed more. In August of 2018, I walked into my first class at CrossFit Prescott Valley — and everything changed. I was immediately drawn to the intensity, the community, and the constant challenge of CrossFit. It pushed me in ways I hadn’t experienced before — not just physically, but mentally. It reminded me that strength is built over time, rep by rep, choice by choice. I had never lifted a barbell before joining CFPV. Now? I get most excited when the workout includes barbell work. There’s something incredibly empowering about stepping up to the bar and doing something you once thought was “not for you.” As time went on, my goals began to shift. It became less about proving something and more about longevity. I became deeply motivated by the desire to age well, build and preserve muscle, fuel my body properly, and stay strong for decades to come. Two years ago, I took that passion further and became a nutrition coach. I had experienced firsthand (by hiring a nutrition coach!) how powerful proper fueling can be — not just for performance, but for energy, recovery, body composition, and confidence. Nutrition truly is the foundation that supports everything else. Helping others understand how to nourish their bodies in a sustainable way brings so much joy to my life. I love walking alongside people as they discover they are capable of more — more strength, more confidence, more vitality — at any age.
My journey — from horseback rider to runner to CrossFitter and nutrition coach — has shaped the way I coach. I believe: It’s never too late to start lifting. Muscle is an investment in your future. Food is fuel, not the enemy. Consistency beats perfection. Strength is for every season of life. I’m stronger in this season of my life than I’ve ever been — and that’s exactly what I want for the people I coach. If you’re ready to train with purpose, fuel with intention, and build a body that supports you for years to come, I’d love to help you get there.
